Babraham Governing Body

What is a School Governing Body?

The Governing Body works closely with the Headteacher and the Local Authority in the management of the school.

Governors meet formally twice a term.  In addition, two committees, the Curriculum and Communications and the Resource and Finance committees, meet twice each term to discuss matters in detail and put forward recommendations to the full Governor Body meeting for approval.

What do Governors do?

Individual governors have  areas of responsibility to oversee, make arranged visits to school on a rota basis and also take part in school events.
